Construction in Central Queensland
About Us

Building Better in the Bush.

Our Story

Regional roots, professional delivery.

B T Hunt Building started with a simple idea: that regional Queensland deserves the same quality of building you'd get in the city. Based in Longreach, we've spent over five years delivering new homes, renovations, and commercial projects across Central and Western QLD.

We're not a volume builder or a franchise. We're a locally owned operation that takes on a manageable workload and does each project properly. From council submissions through to handover, we manage the process end-to-end.

We work with a reliable crew of local and regional subcontractors who share our standards. If you're a client, you'll deal directly with the builder — not a sales rep. If you're a tradie, you'll work on well-managed sites with clear scopes and fair payment terms.

What We Stand For

Our values.

Safety

Every site, every day. No shortcuts. We maintain safe work environments and expect the same from everyone on our sites.

Quality

We build to the code and beyond. Quality materials, proper techniques, and regular inspections throughout every project.

Communication

Direct, honest communication with clients and trades. Regular updates, clear timelines, and no surprises at handover.

Supporting Local Trades

We use local and regional subcontractors wherever possible. Building in the bush means building with the bush.
